The Sunfire flap disc is a new generation of ceramic flap disc consisting of a hybrid 40/60 grit, which is MPA tested and ANSI B7.1, EN13743 certified. The hybrid grit design allows for high removal rate with a highly improved finish of a 60 grit abrasive. This design dramatically improves finish quality, reducing scratches and steps required to create finer finishes. The PLANTEX high-tech compound is the first flap disc backing plate in the world made of natural hemp. In addition to excellent material abrasion and a long service life, the discs offer maximum operator safety, protection of natural resources and environmental friendliness. Plantex hemp backings also provide flexibility, and vibration absorbing properties to enhance grinding performance and increase material removal.
