Replacing a wall light switch with an antimicrobial treated dimmer switch is an easy way to create a big impact for a minimal cost. This additive helps inhibit 99% of mold, mildew, fungi and odor causing bacteria growth on the surface of the device between normal cleanings. The Leviton Decora Slide Antimicrobial Dimmer makes it easy to customize the light level in any room, for any occasion and in any home, whether you are entertaining, reading or watching the latest flick, the right lighting creates the perfect ambiance. It has full-range dimming for dimmable LED, incandescent, and halogen bulbs. It features a separate On/Off switch that preserves the set light level when the switch is turned off and back on again. 300W-120VAC dimmable LED/CFL, 600W-120VAC incandescent/halogen, 60Hz. Use in single pole (one location) or 3-way (two locations) installation when paired with a 3-way switch, ideal for great rooms with multiple entrances or for placement at the top and bottom of a staircase. For complete protection, use with an antimicrobial Decora wallplate sold separately.
